The New Base of Operations
Hey Friends,
Dave Conrey here and I’m reaching out today to let you know of a brand new development that I basically forced upon the other members of Art Clout. We’re closing the doors on our website and moving all of our presence here to Substack.
The beauty of Substack is that it’s both a newsletter platform and a blog-type thing where these updates can live permanently. This is especially good because when we post up information about announcements, events, and gatherings, there’s no more filtering through hundreds of unread emails (we know who you are because we do it too) just to find that one note we sent about the thing that you wanted to pay attention to.
Now all that is on a blog which you can find at artclout.substack.com (we’ll be redirecting our URL soon)
Or if you want to wait for us to reach out to you, then all you need to do is keep your email inbox primed for our next update, which we will send out periodically about any information we feel is important to share regarding visual arts in Long Beach.
Oh, and if you’re glued to your iPhone or Android device as much as I am, then you will appreciate having the Substack app on your phone. You can read our updates and subscribe to tons of great writers on this platform.
A few creative people that I recommend:
Danielle Krysa (The Jealous Curator)
Dave Conrey (yeah, shameless self-promo)
If you click the subscribe button on those accounts or any substack writer, you may be given an option for a paid membership. These are not an obligation, but an opportunity to get different content from those folks. Currently, we have no plans for a membership level on Substack, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of the possibility.
On that note, let’s wrap this one up with a bow just in time for the holidays. We’ll be in touch soon, but we hope you have a wonderful few days with family and friends, or alone with your partner and animals, whatever works for you.
Cheers, and we’ll see you soon.
