Happy Hour and Snow Ball Fight!

Big reminder for our upcoming social event, and this time we’re collaborating with our friends at Art Space, a collaborative art studio featuring Sonia Schenk, her brother Greg Schenk, Laurie Sumiye, and our own Stephanie Han.

Mark your calendars for April 8th and make sure to bring your winter gear (tuques, beanies, scarves, fluorescent pink Ugg boots) because the ski lodge theme will be in full effect (bunny ears are also acceptable because, Easter). We’ll be sharing more visuals and info for the event on all of our broadcast channels, but here are the core details:

Art Clout / Art Space Happy Hour

Saturday, April 8th, 4-7 pm (or later)

3232 E. Willow, Signal Hill, CA 90755 (click for map)

Not an Art Fair

Cutting-edge Hermosa Beach gallery is looking for the best working artists to feature in an upcoming group exhibition at ShockBoxx Gallery at the beginning of May 2023.

“This is one of our favorite annual exhibitions and we leave it up to you to choose theme and your best artwork to submit to this juried group exhibition.”

The deadline for submitting is April 9th so get your work together and submit it.

Damn, Dana

Part-time waiter and filmmaker, Brandon Ogborn released a humorous and insightful documentary titled Damn, Dana about the rise and fall of one of Long Beach’s most infamous personalities, Dana Tanner, the owner of the now-defunct 4th Street diner, Restauration. During the pandemic, Tanner made a name for herself as someone who would stand against big government and common sense using desperate tactics to keep her business alive. Ogborn, a former employee of Restauration had the sense to record all of the events and has now published them on YouTube for all to enjoy.

Upcoming Events

  • 3/31 to 4/2 - Los Ruano Gallery / Smog City Brewery art show (Torrance)

  • 3/30 to 4/2 - The Other Art Fair (Santa Monica)
