We’ve missed seeing your beautiful face so we’re hosting another Art Clout Happy Hour in April. This time though, we’re collaborating with our friends at Art Space, a collaborative art studio featuring Sonia Schenk, her brother Greg Schenk, Laurie Sumiye, and our own Stephanie Han.
Mark your calendars for April 8th and make sure to bring your winter gear (tuques, beanies, mittens, scarf, fluorescent pink Ugg boots) because the ski lodge theme will be in full effect (bunny ears are also acceptable because, Easter). We’ll be sharing more visuals and info for the event on all of our broadcast channels, but here are the core details:

Even MORE Open
We’ve been tracking the expansion of Open Gallery where they’re knocking down walls and polishing floors to add more area for artist studios and special events. If you’ve been looking for new permanent space for your art studio, hit ‘em up. The new space has a tentative opening for April.
Exploring the Unknown
The City of Stanton is hosting an art exhibit with the theme Exploring the Unknown. They have an open call to artists of all types, accepting painting, drawing, poetry, short story, photography, pottery/sculpture, and graphic/digital art. The open call runs until April 9th (busy weekend) and the details can be found in the link above.
PS - Because I know some will ask, Stanton is a small city nestled between Westminster, Cypress, and Garden Grove.
For the Animal Lovers
Wild Heart Gallery currently has a variety of open calls for animal art. Wild Heart is a virtual gallery based in Coachella Valley that runs monthly themed online juried exhibitions featuring wildlife art of all types (as long as it’s digital, I suppose).
